Hive Inc. Bee Tycoon: Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Hive Inc. Bee Tycoon ("the game") is made by Maciej Paczocha NET (Mapacz Games) ("we"). This page explains what the game collects and why. In short: there is no account, no ads and no tracking across apps. Unless you switch them off in Settings, the game sends anonymous play statistics that help us make the game better.
What the game collects
When "Anonymous stats" is on (Settings), the game sends small records of play events to our database:
- a random install ID created by the game on first launch. It is not your Google account, phone number or advertising ID, and it is not linked to your identity;
- events such as: the game opened or closed, a tutorial step finished, a new kind of honey reached, and a "still playing" record every few minutes;
- game progress numbers: play time, session length, honey level, in-game money and pollen, research count, and how many times the Swarm button was tapped;
- the game's version, the phone model and the operating system name (for example "Android");
- error reports when something in the game goes wrong: the error message and where in the game's code it happened;
- the time of each event.
The game does not collect your name, email, contacts, location, photos, or any other personal information, and it does not show ads.
Why
Only to understand how the game is played (for example, where new players get stuck, how long sessions are, how far players get), to find and fix bugs, and to improve it. The data is not sold, not shared with advertisers and not used to identify you.
Where it is stored
The statistics are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to a database hosted by Supabase, which processes it for us. Only we can read it. We keep it for up to 24 months, then delete it.
Turning it off
Open Settings in the game and switch "Anonymous stats" off. Nothing more is recorded or sent, and records waiting on the phone are deleted.
Your saved game
Your progress is saved on your phone. If Android backup is on, Android may copy the saved game to your Google account's backup (Google Drive) so it comes back on a new phone. That copy is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy; we cannot see it.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. The statistics described above are anonymous.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
